## Guide

### 1. Meet LMTrobot

This cabinet is a pharmacy robot\. It packs each patient's medicines into small clear bags, one bag for each time they take their pills\. Inside, a robot arm works straight from the original blister packs, the plastic\-and\-foil cards that hold one pill per pocket\.

Tap the red button, the drawer or the lower door at any time to use the real controls\.

### 2. Blisters wait in their racks

The pharmacist slides each blister, held by a plastic clip, into one of five black racks\. The light under every rack glows green when its blisters are loaded correctly\. A QR code on each clip tells the robot which medicine it is holding\.

Each rack has eight slots, one above the other\.

### 3. Pick and position

The four\-joint robot arm swings over, grips the clip and pulls the blister straight out of its slot\. It keeps the blister perfectly flat as it carries it to the scanning bed\.

### 4. A laser scans in 3D

The arm slides the blister under a red laser line while a camera watches the line bend over every bump\. From that, the robot builds a 3D map of points\. Pills stand taller than the flat foil, so it knows exactly where each pill is\.

This trick is called laser triangulation\.

### 5. One cut, one dose

The arm holds one pocket over the black funnel and a hardened steel blade cuts it free\. The pill falls, still sealed in its own little pocket, down a chute and onto a short belt that carries it to the bag below\.

The pill stays in its original packaging until the patient opens it\.

### 6. Back to the rack, then the next

The arm slides the blister back into its slot and fetches the next medicine\. Pick, scan, cut, return: the same loop repeats for every pill this patient takes at this time of day\.

### 7. Inside: the bag maker

Behind the lower door sits the packing unit\. Two plastic films unwind from reels and meet under a funnel, making an open bag that catches each dose\. A thermal printer adds the patient's name, the time to take it and the list of medicines\.

The dashes on the cables show electricity flowing to the robot and the heaters\.

### 8. Seal, then a new patient

When the bag holds every dose, heated rollers press the two films together and seal it shut with a puff of warm air\. The strip moves down, the reel on the door winds up the finished bags, and a fresh bag opens for the next patient\.

### 9. Your turn at the controls

Press the red emergency button: the arm freezes, the power stops flowing and the status light turns red\. Press it again to release it and carry on\. You can also pull out the drawer to see the touch screen, or open the lower door\.
