### 1. 1 · What Is in the Box

This wall cabinet is built from eight boards, joined by small metal cams and pins, then hung on two wall plates\. You need a flat screwdriver, a cross\-head screwdriver and a rubber mallet\. Tap any part to see its name and number\.

Each drawer carries up to 10 kg, and the whole cabinet up to 40 kg\.

### 2. 2 · Pins and Dowels in the Sides

Screw seven cam pins \(10\) into each side panel and tap in four wooden dowels \(9\)\. The pins are the hooks of the joint: their round heads will be grabbed by cams later\.

### 3. 2 · Cams in the Rails

Press the round cams \(8\) into the large holes in the rails and the middle shelf, with the arrow on each cam pointing towards the board end\.

A cam is a small metal drum\. Turning it pulls the pin head in and locks the joint tight\.

### 4. 2 · Rails onto Side Panel 1

Lay side panel 1 flat and stand the top rails 7 and 6, the middle shelf 3 and the bottom rail 3 on its pins and dowels\. Turn each cam a half turn clockwise with the flat screwdriver\.

### 5. 2 · Side Panel 2 on Top

Lower side panel 2 onto the other ends of the rails and lock its cams the same way\. You now have an open frame with no top or bottom\.

### 6. 3 · Pins and Dowels in Boards 4 and 5

Screw ten cam pins into the underside of top board 4 and tap in six dowels\. Fit six pins and four dowels into bottom board 5\.

On sheet 3 the numbers by board 5 are handwritten as 2 and 3; they mean pins \(10\) and dowels \(9\)\.

### 7. 3 · Cams for the Boards

Turn the frame onto its back, front facing up\. Press sixteen more cams into the holes near the top and bottom edges of the sides and rails\.

### 8. 3 · Fit Boards 4 and 5

Push top board 4 and bottom board 5 onto the frame so their pins drop into the edges, then lock every cam\. The box is now closed and stiff\.

### 9. 3 · Cover Stickers

Press a round sticker \(11\) over each of the 30 cams\. They hide the metal and match the board colour\.

### 10. 4 · Push\-to\-Open Runners

Option 1, push\-to\-open: place the left runners \(13\) and right runners \(14\) on the inside of the sides, 43 mm back from the front edge\.

Option 2, handles \(sheet 6\): fit plain runners the same way, skip sheet 5 and add the handles \(22\)\.

### 11. 4 · Screw the Runners

Fix each runner with two screws \(12\), eight in all, through the holes in its steel plate\. A cross\-head screwdriver drives them in\.

### 12. 5 · Synchronising Links

Join two push\-ends \(20\) to each tube \(21\) and press the ends onto the round knobs of the left and right push units\. Now a push anywhere on the front opens the drawer evenly\.

### 13. 7 · Hangers

Place hanger 18 inside the right side and hanger 15 inside the left side, at the top rear corner just under the rear rail\.

### 14. 7 · Screw the Hangers

Fix each hanger with two screws \(12\)\. These two small brackets will carry the whole cabinet\.

### 15. 8 · Caps on the Hangers

Slide cap 19 onto the right hanger and cap 16 onto the left one\. They cover the hanger tabs neatly\.

### 16. 7 · Hang It on the Wall Plates

Fix the two wall plates \(17\) to the wall, then lift the cabinet and hook its hangers over them\. For a 600 mm cabinet the inner screw holes are 468 mm apart\.

Wall plugs are not in the box: choose plugs that suit your wall\.

### 17. 8 · Drawers onto the Runners

Rest each drawer on its pair of runners and push it in until it clicks\. Push a front to open it; the Pure Box drawer sides are slim steel, so the drawer holds more inside\.
