### 1. A giant on the measuring floor

This is the 2026 GMC Yukon XL Denali Ultimate, a full\-size SUV with three rows of seats\. Let’s measure it from bumper to bumper and from tire to roof\. Drag anywhere to turn it around\.

It seats up to seven people and weighs about 6,107 lb \(2,770 kg\)\.

### 2. Length: 225\.2 inches

From the front bumper to the back bumper it measures 225\.2 inches\. That is 18 feet 9 inches, or 5\.72 metres\. Three grown\-ups lying head to toe would still come up short\!

Each square on the floor is 1 foot \(30\.5 cm\) across\.

### 3. Width: 81 inches

Side to side, the body is 81 inches wide: 6 feet 9 inches, or about 2\.06 metres\. That number leaves out the side mirrors, so a parking spot needs a little more room\.

### 4. Height: 76\.5 inches

From the ground to the top of the roof rails it stands 76\.5 inches tall: 6 feet 4½ inches, or 1\.93 metres\. The grown\-up beside it is 5 feet 9 inches, and the child is 4 feet\. The roof is higher than both of their heads\.

The Denali Ultimate’s height includes its roof rails\.

### 5. Wheelbase: 134\.1 inches

The wheelbase is the distance from the centre of the front wheels to the centre of the back wheels\. On the XL it is 134\.1 inches, about 3\.41 metres\. That long stretch makes room for three rows of seats\.

Wheelbase is not the same as length: the body also reaches past both axles\.

### 6. Big wheels, low clearance

The Denali Ultimate rolls on 24\-inch wheels with thin, low tires about 33 inches tall\. Underneath, there are 7\.3 inches of ground clearance: the gap between the floor and the lowest part of the SUV\.

Tire size 285/40R24\. The 33\-inch tire height is calculated from that size\.

### 7. XL or regular?

XL means extra length\. A regular 2026 Yukon is 210\.1 inches long, about 15 inches shorter, with almost the same width and height\. Switch on the regular size to watch the SUV shrink\.

The extra length gives the XL a longer wheelbase and a bigger cargo area\.

### 8. Room for cargo

Behind the third row there are 41\.5 cubic feet of cargo space\. Fold seats down and it grows to 93\.6, then 144\.5 cubic feet\. The clear cube beside the tailgate holds each amount in one box\.

144\.5 cubic feet would fill a cube about 5 feet 3 inches on each side\.

### 9. The whole picture

Length 225\.2 inches, width 81 inches, height 76\.5 inches and a 134\.1\-inch wheelbase\. Next time one rolls by, you will know: almost 19 feet long and taller than most grown\-ups\.
