## Guide

### 1. Näsinge Chair

Here is everything in the box: the back unit, the front unit with its legs, two side rails, the seat cushion and a small pile of metal parts\. You also need a flat screwdriver and a cross\-head screwdriver; the L\-shaped hex key comes in the box\. Tap any part to see its name\.

Build on a rug or the flattened box so the wood does not get scratched\.

### 2. 1 · Fit the Four Brackets

Lay the back unit on its back\. Screw a metal angle bracket onto the inside of the rear seat rail and the front rail, two on each, with the small wood screws\. Turn the cross\-head screwdriver clockwise\.

### 3. 2 · Push In the Cross Dowels

A cross dowel is a little metal barrel with a threaded hole through its side\. Push one into the side hole of each back post, slot facing out, then turn it with the flat screwdriver so the hole lines up with the bolt\.

### 4. 2 · Drop In the Long Bolts

Drop a long bolt into the middle hole of each three\-hole group\. Turn it clockwise by hand until it catches in the dowel, but leave its head standing up\.

Hand\-tight only for now\.

### 5. 3 · Lower the Side Rails

Slide a side rail straight down over each bolt\. Its two wooden pins fit the two outer holes, and the bolt head ends up inside the oval window in the rail\.

### 6. 4 · Fit the Cups and Snug the Bolts

Slide a grey plastic cup sideways under each bolt head, then turn the bolt clockwise with the hex key until the cup sits flat in its window\. The cup spreads the force so the wood does not crack\.

If the bolt head stands up above the cup, it is not seated yet\.

### 7. 5 · Cross Dowels in the Front Unit

Now the front unit gets the same treatment\. Push a cross dowel into the side hole of each front leg and line it up with the flat screwdriver\.

### 8. 5 · Long Bolts in the Front Unit

Drop the last two long bolts into the middle holes and turn them in by hand, clockwise, leaving the heads standing up\.

### 9. 6 · Lower the Front Unit

Turn the front unit over and lower it onto the free ends of the side rails\. The bolts slip into the rail ends while the pins find their holes\.

### 10. 7 · Turn the Chair Over

Lift the chair and lay it upside down with its seat on the edge of a table, the backrest hanging over the side\. A folded blanket keeps the paint safe\.

### 11. 7 · Fit the Front Cups

Slide a plastic cup under each of the two front bolt heads and snug the bolts clockwise with the hex key, just like before\.

### 12. 8 · Level, Then Tighten All Four

Stand the chair on the floor and press down on the seat frame so all four feet touch\. Then tighten all four bolts firmly with the hex key\.

If the chair rocks, loosen the bolts a little, press it level and tighten again\.

### 13. 9 · Lay On the Seat Cushion

Lower the seat cushion onto the frame so it sits evenly, with its rounded corners at the front\.

### 14. 10 · Turn the Chair Over Again

Hold the cushion in place and turn the chair upside down onto the table edge once more\.

### 15. 11 · Screw the Cushion Down

Drive a short screw up through the slot in each of the four brackets into the cushion board, clockwise\. Turn the chair back onto its feet, and it is ready for its first sitter\. It is tested for people up to 110 kilograms\.

Check the bolts again after about two weeks and tighten them if needed\.
