## Guide

### 1. Before You Start: Check the Parts

Lay every part out on a clean, soft floor and check it against the parts list\. The finished table is 2\.74 metres long and 76 centimetres high, about hip height\. Tap any part to see its name and number\.

At least two adults are needed to build this table\.

### 2. A · Fit the Casters

A caster is a small wheel that can swivel\. Push each caster stem up through the hole at a crossbar end, with the ridged disc between them\. Add the washer and screw on the flange nut, a nut with a wide collar, by hand\. Each crossbar gets one caster with a brake and one without\.

### 3. B · Join the Base

Lay the two rails between the crossbars and stand an upright panel on each crossbar\. Fix each rail end with a bolt, two washers and a nut\. Use two spanners, the open\-ended tools that grip a nut: one holds the bolt head while the other turns the nut\.

### 4. C · Brace the First Half

Lay a table half upside down\. Bolt the two long braces to its frame with the short bolts, small washers, black bushes and nuts\. A bush is a little sleeve that lets the joint pivot, so keep these joints snug, not crushed\.

### 5. D · Stand It on the Base

With one adult at each side, lift the half onto the base so it stands upright on its hinge\. Hook on the latch plate, a small catch that holds it upright\. Swing the outer legs out until the spring pin clicks into place\.

Listen for the click: it means the legs are locked\.

### 6. E · Lower and Bolt the Supports

Unhook the latch plate and lower the half until its legs stand on the floor\. Bolt each support tube to its crossbar end with a long bolt, washers and a nut, then press an end cap onto each panel\. Now go back to step C and build the second half the same way\.

### 7. F · Fit the Net and Level the Table

Drop a net post into the hole on top of each panel and slide the net sleeves down over the posts\. The net stands 15\.25 centimetres high, about the width of a hand\. Twist the feet to level the table\.

Check that every moving part works, peel off any protective film, and lock the caster brakes before you play\.
