### 1. Mustang Shooting Break

This concept imagines a Ford Mustang as a shooting brake: a sporty car with a long wagon roof\. It keeps the Mustang’s long hood and adds room for people and luggage behind\.

It is a design study\. Ford has never sold a Mustang wagon\.

### 2. Running pony grille

A wide honeycomb grille fills the nose, with the chrome running pony in the middle\. The pony badge has marked Mustangs since the first cars in 1964\.

### 3. Slim LED headlights

Thin LED headlamps sit high at the corners of the nose\. Bright bracket\-shaped running lights frame the grille, so the car is easy to spot by day\.

### 4. Three\-bar tail lights

Mustangs are famous for three vertical bars in each tail light\. The rear of the concept is not shown in its picture, so these lamps follow that Mustang tradition\.

Press the button to watch the bars light up one after another\.

### 5. The long roof

A shooting brake keeps the roof high all the way back, then drops at an almost upright tailgate\. That shape turns a sports car’s small trunk into a real cargo bay\.

The name comes from carriages that carried hunting parties and their gear\.

### 6. Cargo bay

An X\-ray view fades the body away to show the space behind the rear seats\. Bags slide in through the tailgate, under the long glass roof line\.

### 7. Wheels and brakes

Smooth turbine\-style wheels, about 20 inches across, help air flow cleanly past the sides\. Through the gaps you can see bright red brake calipers, which squeeze the discs to slow the car\.

### 8. Roof rails

Slim silver rails run the full length of the roof\. They are ready for a bike or ski rack, which suits a car built for weekends away\.

### 9. Interior

Four doors lead to four seats\. The concept picture only hints at pale seats inside, so you can try two possible trims\.

### 10. Cockpit

Two wide screens sit in front of the driver: one for speed and driving information, one for maps and music\. A steering wheel and low dash keep the view of the road open\.

### 11. Body

Slate Blue\. Oxford White\. Race Red\. Grabber Blue\. Shadow Black\.
