## Guide

### 1. Envision Smart BESS

A battery energy storage system banks electricity when there is plenty and returns it when the grid needs it\. This ENS\-LC10060 pairs two liquid\-cooled 20 ft containers, about 10 MWh in all, with one power\-conversion skid\.

Drag to turn the site\. Labels marked typical are our estimates\.

### 2. 1 · The Container

Each unit is a 6058 × 2438 × 2591 mm container weighing about 42 t and holding roughly 5 MWh\. Service doors on its long side open onto the battery racks; the chiller sits behind the fans at one end\.

### 3. 2 · Racks of Packs

Inside, racks of sealed battery packs face each other in two rows\. Each rack strings about 416 cells in series, so the DC side runs between 1165 and 1500 V\.

The rack and pack counts shown are a typical layout derived from the published ratings\.

### 4. 3 · From Pack to Cell

Every pack holds dozens of prismatic lithium iron phosphate \(LFP\) cells\. Envision's own 315 Ah cell stores 1008 Wh at 3\.2 V and is rated for 12,000 cycles\.

LFP chemistry trades a little energy density for long life and thermal stability\.

### 5. 4 · Liquid Cooling

A chiller pumps coolant along the floor manifold, up the risers and through every pack, then back along the top\. Holding all cells at the same temperature makes them age evenly\.

### 6. 5 · Layers of Safety

Smoke, heat and gas detectors watch every bay\. If a pack overheats, clean agent from the cylinder is sprayed into that IP67 pack, and pressure vents and a 1 h fire\-rated enclosure contain the rest\.

Certifications include UL 9540A, UL 9540, UL 1973 and IEC 62619\.

### 7. 6 · From DC to the Grid

The containers store direct current\. The skid's power conversion system \(PCS\) turns it into alternating current, and its transformer steps that up to 33 kV for the grid\. It runs both ways and responds in about 5 ms\.

Choose a direction to see which way the energy flows\.

### 8. 7 · EnOS, the Smart Part

Envision's EnOS energy management decides when to store and when to deliver: here it charges from the midday solar surplus and discharges into the evening peak\. Its control loop reacts within 100 ms, and AI diagnostics watch the health of every cell\.

The same control can also hold grid frequency and voltage steady\.
