# Buffet Arcus Assembly Guide

Build the Arcus two\-door buffet step by step, from legs to drawer

### 1. Buffet Arcus

A buffet is a low cupboard for plates and table things\. The Arcus is 92 cm wide and 78 cm tall, with a drawer, two doors and four slanted legs\. All its parts are laid out on a rug\. Tap a part to see its name and its number in the paper manual\.

Build it on a rug or blanket so the boards do not get scratched\.

### 2. 1 · Fit the Four Legs

The base \(part 1\) lies upside down\. Press the four legs \(part 2\) onto their screws at its corners, with each foot slanting outwards\.

The manual asks for hand tools only, not a power drill\.

### 3. 2 · Turn the Base Over

Lift the base, roll it over and stand it on its legs where the buffet will live\. Two people make this easier\.

### 4. 3 · Fit the Left Side

Push the left side \(part 4\) against the end of the base\. Its curved front strip, the curved frame \(part 5\), faces forwards\.

### 5. 4 · Fit the Right Side

Fit the right side \(part 3\) the same way, with its curved frame at the front\. Now the base has a wall at each end\.

### 6. 5 · Drop In the Shelf

Lower the inner shelf \(part 12\) between the sides\. It rests on four small metal pins, two on each side, called shelf supports\.

### 7. 6 · Lower the Middle Panel

Lower the middle panel \(part 10\) from above\. The upright divider under it \(part 11\) stands where the two doors will meet\.

### 8. 7 · Fit the Top

Lay the wooden top \(part 6\) across the sides\. Its front corners tuck in beside the curved frames\.

### 9. 8 · Fit the Back Panels

Hold the two thin back panels \(part 14\) against the back edges and fix them with the small nails\. The back panels keep the cupboard square, so it does not lean\.

### 10. 9 · Hang the Doors

Hang the left and right doors \(parts 16 and 15\) on their hinges\. The rounded corners at the top meet in the middle and make a handle for your fingers\.

### 11. 10 · Slide In the Drawer

Slide the drawer straight in along its runners, the metal rails it rolls on\. Push until its front sits flush under the top\.

### 12. Finished

Your Arcus buffet is ready\. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry it, and keep it out of strong sun\.
