### 1. A whole story, scattered

Bella the beluga is in for a check\-up with Dr\. Orkie\. Her health story is spread across many specialists and computer systems: heart, kidneys, skin, scans and more\. Dr\. Orkie has only a few minutes\.

A chart is the record of everything that has happened to a patient: tests, medicines, diagnoses and reports\.

### 2. The old way: page by page

In the back, Ollie the octopus is reading Bella's chart by hand\. Even with eight arms there is too much to read, so an important detail from one specialist can be missed by another\.

In one large US study, doctors spent about 16 minutes in the electronic record per visit, roughly a third of it just reviewing the chart\.

### 3. Bella's patient model

As Bella turns, OORCAS gathers her chart into one patient model around her: lab results, medicines, diagnoses and imaging reports from every specialty\. It uses the records the hospital already has\.

Blue cards are lab tests, green are medicines, coral are diagnoses and violet are imaging reports\.

### 4. Every card, in seconds

OORCAS reads every card from every specialist, not just the latest note\. Press the button to watch it read the whole chart and lift out the few findings that matter\.

### 5. Every finding has a source

Each gold finding is tied by a thread to the record it came from and to the medical guideline behind it\. A guideline is the expert rulebook doctors follow\. Turn the threads off to see what a black box would hide\.

### 6. No made\-up words

OORCAS does not write free\-form text, so it cannot invent a finding\. Each line it shows is a clear statement linked to its evidence\. Clinicians can trust it because they can check it\.

### 7. Two reports

The clinician's report appears on the screen: a short list of what matters, each with its source and guideline\. Dr\. Orkie hands Bella her own report in plain words, to bring to her next visit\.

### 8. Time and money saved

Reading charts takes doctors minutes every visit and hours every day\. OORCAS does that reading in seconds, giving time back for patients\. Catching what was missed early can also help avoid repeat tests and costlier care later\.

Every chart read\. Every finding traceable\.
