## Guide

### 1. LEGO 6741 Mini Jet

Creator 3\-in\-1 set 6741 \(2009\): 63 elements; the main model is a twin\-engine jet of about 13 cm\. Fifteen steps, all clutch\-fit on the 8\.0 mm stud grid; no tools\.

System units: plate 3\.2 mm, brick 9\.6 mm \(3 plates\)\. Drag to turn the model\.

### 2. 1 · Base Plate

Lay the black 2×8 plate \(3034\) lengthwise on the mat\. It is the keel: every later element locks to it directly or through the plates above\.

### 3. 2 · Fuselage Floor

Press two dark bluish gray 2×3 plates side by side across the front three stud columns, overhanging the keel by one stud on each side\. Add a light bluish gray 2×4 plate on the rear four columns\.

### 4. 3 · Tail Block

Seat the light bluish gray inverted slope 33 3×2 \(3747\) at the tail, its sloped underside facing aft\. Stack a second 2×4 plate on the rear section\.

Source drawings do not resolve the slope's support; position estimated\.

### 5. 4 · Engine Mounts

Place two 1×1 headlight bricks \(4070\) outboard at the front of the rear section, side studs facing aft\. Fill the centre with two light bluish gray 2×2 plates\.

### 6. 5 · Engine Rings

Build two stacks of two 1×1 round plates \(4073\) and press each onto a headlight brick's rear stud, coaxial with the fuselage\.

### 7. 6 · Exhausts

Press a trans\-dark\-orange 1×1 cone onto a dark bluish gray 1×1 round brick, twice, and attach each to the round\-plate stacks\. The cones point aft\.

### 8. 7 · White Deck

Add two white 2×4 plates on the centre section, a white 2×2 at the front, and a white 2×4 across the tail block as the stabiliser spar\.

### 9. 8 · Rear Vent

Fit the two dark bluish gray grille slopes 18 2×1×⅔ \(61409\) side by side between the future fin positions, slots facing up\.

### 10. 9 · Nose Block

Press the red 2×4 brick \(3001\) across the front, overlapping the 2×3 plates by one column\. Fit a light bluish gray 1×1×1 corner panel on each side behind it\.

### 11. 10 · Stabilisers

Place the red 1×3 plates either side of the vent as fin bases, then the white 4×2 wedge plates \(41769/41770\) outboard on the tail spar\.

### 12. 11 · Wings

Fit the white 6×3 wedge plates \(54383 right, 54384 left\) with their roots along the fuselage, swept edge forward\. Check that the right\-hand part goes to starboard\.

### 13. 12 · Red Upper Deck

Lay four red 3×2 wedge plates \(43722/43723\) as a diamond over the wing roots, then press four red 1×2 jumper plates \(3794\) behind the cockpit\.

### 14. 13 · Fins and Nose Cone

Add the two light bluish gray 1×2 grille tiles, the red slope 33 1×3 fins \(4286\) on the fin bases, and the red bracket 1×2–2×2 \(44728\) on the nose brick\. Press the red 2×2×2 cone onto the bracket's forward studs\.

### 15. 14 · Nose Tip

Push the red 1×1 cone \(4589\) onto the stud at the tip of the 2×2×2 cone, along the nose axis\.

### 16. 15 · Canopy and Fin Tips

Seat the two smoke curved slopes 2×2 \(30602\) back to back over the cockpit\. Press a trans\-red slope 30 1×1×⅔ \(54200\) onto the top stud at the rear of each fin\.

### 17. Complete

The main model is finished: roughly 16 studs long and 10 studs across the wings\. The same 63 elements also rebuild into the set's two alternate models\.

Step order after LEGO building instructions 6741 \(2009\); interior positions estimated from the scans\.
