# Animal Cage Assembly

Put together a folding wire animal cage, its tray and play pen, step by step

### 1. Animal Cage Assembly

Here is everything in the box: the folded wire cage, a plastic tray, four pen panels \(two A, two B\), a low front panel, three pins and some small plastic clips and feet\. No tools are needed\. Every piece fits by hand\. Tap a part to see its name\.

Build it together: one person holds, the other clips\.

### 2. 1 · Unfold the Cage

Lift the roof by its middle\. The walls are joined to it by hinges, a joint that lets them swing, so they drop down by themselves until the cage stands like a box\.

### 3. 2 · Fit the Four Corner Feet

Hold the cage up a little and push a plastic corner foot up onto the bars at each bottom corner\. The feet keep the wire ends off the tray\.

### 4. 3 · Lower the Cage into the Tray

Lift the cage over the tray and lower it straight down until all four feet rest inside the rim\.

### 5. 4 · Clip the Tray Ends

Hook a latch clip over the rim at each end of the tray\. Its two little hooks grip the rim so the cage and tray stay together when you move them\.

### 6. 5 · Hang the Low Front Panel

Bring the long, low panel to the front of the tray and hang it against the front face, just under the rim\.

### 7. 6 · Hook On the First A Panel

Take a panel A\. Turn it so the open J\-shaped hooks face the cage, then lower it so the hooks drop over the cage's right front corner\.

Use the hook end of panel A, not the round eyelet end\.

### 8. 7 · Hook On the Second A Panel

Do the same with the other panel A on the left front corner\. Now two side walls of the play pen stand out in front of the cage\.

### 9. 8 · Clip the Top Joints

Snap a connector clip over the top of each joint, where panel A meets the cage\. The clip holds two bars side by side\.

### 10. 8 · Fit the Front Latch

Push one more latch clip over the rim at the middle of the front\. It holds the low front panel snugly against the tray\.

### 11. 9 · Add the Two B Panels

Lower both B panels so their round eyelets, small wire loops, sit on top of the eyelets of the A panels\. The two B panels meet in a point at the front\.

### 12. 10 · Drop In the Three Pins

Slide a pin down through each stack of eyelets, hooked end at the top\. The pins work like the pin in a door hinge and lock the pen closed\.

### 13. All Done

The cage and its play pen are ready\. Give the cage a gentle shake to check every clip holds, then add bedding, water and food before your pet moves in\.

Check the pins and clips now and then\. Curious pets love to nibble and push\.
