### 1. Welcome to Goldshire

Deep in Elwynn Forest, a cobbled crossroads gathers a handful of blue\-roofed, timber\-framed houses under great oaks\. This is Goldshire, the first real town on the road from Northshire Abbey, and the place every young adventurer of Stormwind passes through\.

Drag to turn the diorama\. Click the inn, the forge or the trade stall to visit it\.

### 2. The Lion's Pride Inn

The two\-storey inn with the tall arched window is the heart of the town\. Innkeeper Farley keeps the rooms, and travellers tie their hearthstones here so they can always find their way back\. Erma, the stable master, waits by the rail out front\.

The wiki calls the Lion's Pride one of the most respectable ale houses in Azeroth\.

### 3. Smith Argus's Forge

Across the crossroads stands the blacksmith: blue\-grey walls bound with iron, a great stone chimney and a riveted flue\. Smith Argus works the anvil out front, and the class trainers keep their houses just behind\.

The forge faces the inn across the road, so the whole town meets at the crossing\.

### 4. The Crossroads

Every road in Elwynn meets at this signpost\. Northwest lies Stormwind City, northeast Northshire Abbey, west the farms of Westfall and east the hills of Redridge\. Tharin Bowden sells his wares from the red\-awning stall at the corner\.

Roads here are cobbled in town and packed earth beyond, edged with split\-rail fences\.

### 5. Elwynn Forest

Old oaks with thick, gnarled trunks crowd around the town, and to the east the shore of Crystal Lake catches the light\. Choose the hour and watch the lanterns and windows of Goldshire answer the dusk\.

The forest around Goldshire is mostly broadleaf oak, never snow or pine\.

### 6. Rest, then Adventure

As night settles, fireflies drift over the meadows and the inn windows glow\. Rest by the fire tonight; tomorrow the roads lead on to Westfall, Redridge and the wide world beyond\.

Goldshire is a stop on the way from Northshire to Stormwind, so it is always busy\.
