## Guide

### 1. Gullaberg Shoe Rack

This cabinet is 105 cm wide but only 22 cm deep, with four tilt\-out compartments for about eight pairs of shoes\. Here are the sides, rails, divider, top, doors, plastic bins, knobs and fittings\. You need a flat\-blade and a cross\-head screwdriver\. Tap any part to see its name\.

Work on a soft rug, and build it with a second person\.

### 2. 1 · Rails onto the Left Side

Stand the left side panel up\. Push the four rails onto its little pegs, two at the top and two at the bottom\.

A helper holds the side steady while you fit the rails\.

### 3. 2 · Slide In the Divider

Slide the centre divider in from the front, between the top and bottom rails\. Its cross strip will separate the upper and lower compartments\.

### 4. 3 · Fit the Right Side

Push the right side panel onto the other ends of the rails\. Now the frame has four corners\.

### 5. 4 · Lock the First Cam

A cam lock is a small metal disc that grips a bolt inside the joint\. Drop it into the hole on top of the rail, then turn it half a turn clockwise with the flat\-blade screwdriver\.

### 6. 4 · Lock the Other Three

Lock the other three cam locks the same way\. Each one pulls its joint tight\.

### 7. 5 · Put the Top On

Lower the top straight down onto the frame\. It hangs over a little at the front and sides\.

### 8. 6 · Hang the Coat Hook

Fit the black coat hook to the outside of the left side, near the top\. It is handy for a bag or a shoehorn\.

### 9. 7 · Fix It to the Wall

This cabinet is tall and shallow, so it could tip forward\. Drive a screw through the top back rail into the wall, turning clockwise\.

Use the right plug for your wall\. Ask an adult to drill the holes\.

### 10. 7 · The Second Wall Screw

Drive the second screw the same way\. Now the cabinet cannot tip over, even if someone pulls a compartment hard\.

### 11. 8 · Bins onto the Doors

Each compartment is a plastic bin with a door on its front\. Lay the doors face down and press a bin onto the back of each one\.

### 12. 9 · Fit the Compartments

Fit each compartment into an opening\. The bins pivot near their bottom edge, so the door tips out at the top to show the shoes inside\.

### 13. 10 · Screw On the Knobs

Turn a wooden knob onto each door, clockwise, until it is snug\.

### 14. Done

Your shoe cabinet is ready\. Put the heaviest shoes in the lower compartments, and never climb on the cabinet\.
