## Guide

### 1. Carrera Coffee Table

In the box: the Table Top \(1\), the Bottom \(2\) and four Legs \(3\), plus 16 wood dowels and 8 metal pins\. Cams, small round locks, are already set in the legs\. You only need a cross\-head screwdriver, and it takes under 30 minutes\. Tap a part to see its name\.

Build it where it will stand: the finished table is 90 cm long\.

### 2. Step 1 · Insert Hardware into Panels \(1\) and \(2\)

First the metal pins\. Screw each pin into a hole with a white collar, turning it clockwise with the screwdriver until it sits snug\. Each panel takes 4 pins, the middle hole of each row\.

The pin heads stay above the board: later, the cams in the legs hook over them\.

### 3. Step 1 · Press In the Wood Dowels

Now the wood dowels\. Press each one lightly into its hole by hand, no tools needed\. Each panel takes 8 dowels, one either side of every pin\.

Dowels line the parts up, so every joint meets in exactly the right place\.

### 4. Step 2 · Connect Panel \(2\) with the Four Legs \(3\)

Lower each leg onto its row of pins and dowels on the Bottom \(2\), cams facing in\. Then turn the lower cam on each leg clockwise with the screwdriver until it grips the pin\.

A cam is a round lock: half a turn hooks it over the pin head and pulls the joint tight\.

### 5. Step 3 · Connect Panel \(1\)

Turn the Table Top \(1\) over so its pins and dowels point down\. Lower it onto the legs, lining every pin and dowel up with its hole\. Then tighten the upper cam on each leg, 4 in all\.

### 6. Step 4 · Assembly Complete
