### 1. IKEA Instructions for Besta

This white BESTÅ frame is 60 cm wide, 38 cm tall and 40 cm deep\. Here are its five boards, four wooden dowels, four cam bolts, four cam locks and a screwdriver\. Tap any part to see its name\.

Work on a soft rug so the boards do not get scratched\.

### 2. 1 · Push In the First Dowel

A dowel is a short wooden peg that lines two boards up\. Push one into the front hole at the left end of the bottom panel, so half of it sticks up\.

### 3. 2 · Push In the Other Three

Push the next dowel into the right end of the bottom panel\. The last two go into the top panel, which lies upside down behind it\.

### 4. 3 · Screw In the First Cam Bolt

A cam bolt is a small metal bolt that the lock will grab later\. Screw it clockwise into the back hole beside the first dowel until it stops\.

### 5. 4 · Screw In the Other Three

Fit the other three cam bolts the same way, next to each dowel\. Every joint now has a dowel at the front and a bolt at the back\.

### 6. 5 · Stand Up the Left Side

Hold the left side panel with its small holes facing in\. Lower it straight down over the dowel and bolt at the left end\.

### 7. 6 · Stand Up the Right Side

Lower the right side panel onto the other end the same way\. It will wobble a little until the top goes on\.

### 8. 7 · Put On the Top

Turn the top panel over and lower it onto both sides, so its dowels and bolts slide into the holes\. This is a good moment for a helper to hold the sides steady\.

### 9. 8 · Lock the First Cam Lock

A cam lock is a round metal cup with a hook inside\. Push it into the big round hole, then turn it half a turn clockwise\. The hook catches the bolt and pulls the boards tight together\.

### 10. 9 · Lock the Other Three

Lock the other three corners the same way\. Now the box is firm\.

### 11. 10 · Fit the Back Panel

Push the thin back panel into the back of the frame\. It holds the box square, so the doors and shelves you add later line up\.

### 12. Done

Your frame is built\! The boards are light because they hold a paper honeycomb inside, not solid wood\. Each shelf can carry 20 kg\.

Always fix the frame to the wall with the wall attachment provided, so it cannot tip over\.
