## Guide

### 1. Welcome to the VIP Lounge

This private gaming room is built for comfort, light and sound\. Every corner helps players feel as if they are inside the game\. Drag anywhere to turn the room and look around\.

### 2. The big screen

The giant screen is the heart of the room\. Many gaming screens redraw their picture 120 times a second or more, so fast motion looks smooth instead of jumpy\.

Most films show just 24 pictures every second\.

### 3. Light sets the mood

Strips of tiny LEDs \(light\-emitting diodes\) glow along the walls, under the sofa and beneath the screen\. Each LED mixes red, green and blue light to make almost any colour\. Pick a mood and watch the room change\.

With 256 levels for each of the three colours, an LED can show over 16 million colours\.

### 4. The racing seat

A racing rig has a bucket seat, a steering wheel and pedals, just like a real car\. Many wheels push back with small motors, called force feedback, so drivers feel the road\. Switch on race mode to take a lap\.

### 5. The arcade corner

Tall arcade cabinets brought video games into cafés and bars in the 1970s\. Pong, a simple table tennis game released by Atari in 1972, was the first video game to become a big money\-making hit\.

Its first test machine reportedly stopped working because its coin box was stuffed too full\.

### 6. Sound all around

Speakers stand in front of, beside and behind the sofa\. A 5\.1 system uses five main speakers plus one subwoofer, a speaker just for deep bass\. Sounds can hop from speaker to speaker, so a car seems to zoom right past you\.

### 7. VIP comforts

A deep velvet sofa faces the screen, with snacks close by, a bar with stools and a glowing mini fridge\. Soft walls and thick carpet soak up echoes, so game sounds stay crisp and clear\.

### 8. Game on\!

Screen, light, sound and seats all work together to pull players into the game\. Turn the room once more and pick your favourite spot\.
