### 1. One Handle, 23 Pieces

This is the Philips MG7963 multi\-groomer: one slim handle and a tray of clip\-on heads and combs\. Together they trim beards, hair, eyebrows and body hair\. Tap any piece to see its name, or drag to look around\.

The kit has 23 pieces in all; this tray shows the main ones\.

### 2. Two Blades, One Quick Shuffle

The metal head has two rows of teeth\. The front row stays still, while a motor in the handle slides the moving blade from side to side very fast\. A hair caught between the teeth is snipped, like a tiny pair of scissors\.

Here the shuffle is slowed right down so you can see it\.

### 3. A Comb Sets the Length

A comb slides on over the blade and clicks into place\. Its teeth hold the blade a set distance from your skin, so only hair longer than that gap is cut\. This precision comb has a dial for 1 to 3 millimetres\.

### 4. Taller Teeth, Longer Hair

Swap to a comb with taller teeth and the gap grows, so more hair is left behind\. The adjustable comb covers 3 to 13 millimetres\.

With all its combs, the kit offers 24 lengths, from 0\.5 to 16 millimetres\.

### 5. Small Heads for Small Places

Heads pull straight off and press back on with a click\. The detail trimmer has a narrow blade for neat edges and fine lines\. The nose and ear trimmer, glowing on the tray, has its cutter hidden inside a rounded tip\.

### 6. Press, Buzz, Charge

One press of the button starts the motor and another stops it\. A lithium\-ion battery inside the handle runs for up to 180 minutes\. To charge, the USB cable plugs into the round socket in the end cap\.

A full charge takes about 70 minutes; five minutes gives enough for one quick trim\.

### 7. Rinse and Brush

Switch off, unplug and take off the head\. The groomer is showerproof, so the head and handle can be rinsed under warm running water\. A little brush sweeps away loose hairs, and the blades need no oil\.

### 8. Ready for the Next Trim

The blade head clicks home and everything goes back in its place\. One motor, two blades and a comb are all it takes to choose exactly how much hair stays\.
