### 1. Meet the Type 01

This is the Jaguar Type 01, a four\-door electric grand tourer revealed in October 2026\. A grand tourer, or GT, is a fast, comfortable car made for long journeys\. Let's choose its paint and its cabin\. Drag anywhere to walk around it\.

Early images and expected options: the final colours and trims may still change\.

### 2. Long, low and smooth

The Type 01 is about 5\.2 metres long but only 1\.4 metres tall\. Its huge 23\-inch wheels sit near the corners, under a long bonnet and a tall, flat nose\. The smooth shape slips through the air easily, which helps a battery car go further\.

Its drag coefficient is 0\.23\. Lower numbers mean the air pushes back less\.

### 3. Gloss paints

Gloss paint has a clear, shiny top coat, so it reflects the studio lights like a mirror\. Try four of the gloss colours and watch the reflections slide along the sides\.

Their full names are Visionary Silver, Dramatic White, Refined Grey and Iconic Black\.

### 4. Satin and special paints

Satin paint is smoother than matte but softer than gloss, so the light spreads into a gentle glow\. Tap each special colour to see it on the car\. London Red belongs to Chromatic Moments, a special edition of just 60 cars\.

Compelling Blue is a fifth gloss colour\. Modernist Blue and Mesmerizing Copper are the two satin paints\.

### 5. No rear window

Look at the back: there is no rear window at all\. A small camera above the tail films the road behind, and the picture appears on a wide screen across the dashboard, called the Panoramic Soundbar\.

Without a rear window, the roof can sweep down in one long, clean line\.

### 6. Under the glass roof

The roof is one long sheet of tinted glass\. Switch it to clear and look down into the cabin\. A long central spine runs from front to back and splits the inside into four separate seats, two in front and two behind\.

This layout is called a 2\+2: two front seats plus two rear seats\.

### 7. Choose the cabin

The cabin colours are inspired by travertine, a creamy stone\. Seats come in fine perforated leather or in soft woven textiles\. Pick a look and watch the seats, dashboard and spine change together\.

Jaguar has not published the trim names yet, so these three looks are our interpretation\.

### 8. Brass details

Thin strips of brass\-coloured aluminium run along the spine and across the dashboard\. Small metal pins sit on each headrest\. Details like these make the cabin feel hand\-finished\.

Anodising grows a thin, hard skin on aluminium that holds the colour, so it will not tarnish like real brass\.

### 9. Your Type 01

Here is your configured car, slowly turning on the stand\. Go back to any step to change the paint or the cabin\. Every choice you made stays in place\.

Orders are expected to open in early 2027\.
