## Guide

### 1. Parts and Tools

A back board, seven shelves, a bracket and fourteen long screws with a hex key, laid out on a blanket\. For the wall you need a cross\-head screwdriver, a pencil, a spirit level and two wall screws\. Tap a part to see its name\.

The unit must be fixed to the wall or it can tip over\. Wall screws and plugs are not included: choose ones that suit your wall\. The box also holds two more brackets and nine short screws, used only when the unit is hung on its side\.

### 2. 1 · First Screw

Stand the back board on its long edge on the blanket, its holes towards you and the shelves behind it\. Push a long screw into a hole and turn it clockwise with the hex key until its head sits flush\.

### 3. 1 · Other Eleven

Fit the other eleven the same way: two screws for each of the six shelves\.

### 4. 2 · Seventh Shelf

Slide the seventh shelf up to the end of the board, its top flush with the board's top edge, so its two holes meet the board's last two holes\.

### 5. 2 · Bracket

Lay the bracket across the board at that end with its X facing you and its two slots over the two holes\.

The crossed\-out copy shows the wrong side: the X must face out\.

### 6. 2 · First Long Screw

Push a long screw through a slot and the board into the shelf and turn it clockwise with the hex key until it is tight\.

### 7. 2 · Second Long Screw

Fix the second slot the same way\. The shelf unit is built\.

### 8. 3 · Stand It Up

With a helper, tip the unit up onto its end and turn it so the shelves face the room\.

### 9. 3 · Against the Wall

Carry the unit to the wall and hold it upright with its back and the bracket against the wall\.

### 10. 3 · Check It Is Level

Hold a spirit level against the side of the board and straighten the unit until the bubble sits in the middle\.

### 11. 3 · Mark the Wall

Put a pencil through each of the two upper holes of the bracket and mark the wall behind it\.

### 12. 3 · First Wall Screw

Drive a wall screw through the first marked hole and the bracket into the wall with the cross\-head screwdriver, clockwise, until its head holds the bracket\.

Wall screws and plugs are not included\. If your wall needs it, drill and plug it first\.

### 13. 3 · Second Wall Screw

Fix the second hole the same way\. Your LACK wall shelf unit is on the wall\.

Do not put more than 3 kg on a shelf when the unit hangs upright\.
