### 1. Welcome to the gallery

This is the Polestar 4, an electric coupe\-SUV: as tall and roomy as an SUV, with the low, sloping roof of a sports coupe\. Look closely at the back\. There is no rear window at all\!

Drag anywhere to walk around the car\. It is about 4\.8 m long and 2 m wide\.

### 2. Choose its colour

Pick a paint and watch the car change\. Electron is a cool metallic that shimmers with tiny flakes\. Snow is a clean, bright white\.

The paint covers the upper body; the lower trim stays black\.

### 3. A face drawn in light

There is no grille at the front, because an electric motor needs far less cooling air than an engine\. Instead, thin LED strips draw a split lamp on each side\. At the back, one light bar runs the full width of the car\.

LED means light\-emitting diode: a tiny chip that glows when electricity flows through it\.

### 4. Headlights that dodge

With the Plus pack, each headlight has 32 pixels: small lights that switch on and off one by one\. A camera spots other cars, and the pixels aimed at them go dark\. You keep a bright main beam without dazzling the other driver\.

### 5. A battery in the floor

Under the cabin floor lies a flat battery pack, about 100 kWh in total with 94 kWh usable\. Keeping that heavy pack low and between the wheels helps the car feel steady in corners\.

A kilowatt\-hour \(kWh\) is an amount of energy\. This pack gives about 600 km on WLTP, a standard test drive in a lab\.

### 6. One motor at the back

The Long Range Single Motor has one electric motor on the rear axle, so the back wheels push the car\. It makes 200 kW, about 272 horsepower\. When you slow down, the motor works in reverse and sends energy back to the battery\.

Orange pulses carry power to the motor; green pulses carry recovered energy back\.

### 7. Pilot pack: extra eyes

The Pilot pack adds Pilot Assist, which uses cameras and radar to keep a set distance and stay in lane, up to 130 km/h\. It can even help change lanes\. The driver must still watch the road and hold the wheel\.

Radar sends out radio waves and listens for echoes to measure how far away things are\.

### 8. Plus pack: comfort and sound

The Plus pack fills the cabin with treats\. Twelve Harman Kardon speakers surround you with sound, and a head\-up display shines speed and directions onto the windscreen\. It also adds those pixel headlights and faster home charging\.

Pack contents vary by country\.

### 9. Your Polestar 4

Floor battery, rear motor, pixel lights, driver help and comfort: together they make this Long Range Single Motor with Pilot and Plus packs\. Pick your favourite colour one last time and take a final walk around\.
