### 1. Corolla X 1\.8 Grande

This is the Toyota Corolla X in its top Grande trim, as sold in Pakistan, in Metal Stream silver\. Drag the floor to walk around it\. The steps take you from the showroom to the driver's seat\.

4,685 mm long on a 2,700 mm wheelbase\.

### 2. A sharper face

Slim LED projector headlamps sweep back from the grille, with a daytime running light along each lower edge\. Round fog lamps sit at the ends of the wide lower intake\.

The headlamps level themselves automatically\.

### 3. Open it up

Tap a door, the bonnet or the boot lid to open or close it\. The boot holds 470 litres of luggage\.

### 4. Step inside

Drag to look all the way around the cabin\. The seats are dark chestnut with black bolsters and beige stitching, framed by copper\-tone trim the brochure calls warm steel\. Tap the glowing switches to try the sunroof, windows and folding mirrors\.

### 5. The driver's seat

The steering wheel is on the right\. Press the start button to wake the engine and the instrument dials\. Tap the stalks for indicators, headlights and wipers, or the wheel centre to sound the horn\.

1\.8 litre petrol engine: 138 horsepower and 173 Nm\.

### 6. Watch a test drive

The car pulls away on the test strip, brakes hard, weaves through the cones and then reverses\. Watch the wheels steer and the body lean and dip as it speeds up and slows down\.

### 7. Drive from the cockpit

Hold the steering wheel and slide left or right to steer\. Push up to accelerate and pull down to brake\. Choose R to reverse and watch the 9\-inch screen switch to the rear camera\.

Tap the console lever for the hand brake and the SPORT switch for sport mode\.

### 8. Chase camera

Now follow from behind\. Hold the car itself to drive it in the same way: slide to steer, up to go, down to brake\. Drag the ground to swing the camera round\.
