### 1. SpaceX, decomposed to depth three

Space Exploration Technologies Corp\., founded 14 March 2002, headquartered at Starbase, Texas\. The table models the company as a uniform tree: 7 segments, 4 systems per segment, 3 components per system\. Click any puck to make it the root of the view; click the centred puck to step back up\.

Segment model is an authoring decomposition, not an official org chart\. Sources: Wikipedia, SpaceX \(Oct 2026\)\.

### 2. Corporate: leadership, capital, results

Elon Musk is CEO, chair and CTO; Gwynne Shotwell is president and COO\. Listed on Nasdaq as SPCX with an IPO priced at $135 on 11 June 2026\. FY2025 revenue was $18\.7B against an operating loss of $2\.6B\.

IPO proceeds \($75B vs $86B\) and Musk’s stake are reported inconsistently; both are flagged on the components\.

### 3. Falcon launch services

Falcon 9 Block 5 stands 70 m on a 3\.66 m core and lifts off at 549 t\. The first stage carries 9 Merlin 1D engines, 4 legs and 4 cast\-titanium grid fins for recovery; the second stage and its single MVac are expended\. Falcon Heavy clusters three cores for 27 Merlin 1D\.

LEO payload: 22\.8 t expended, 17\.4 t with booster recovery \(Wikipedia, Falcon 9\)\.

### 4. Dragon 2 spacecraft

The capsule is 4\.5 m tall and 4 m in diameter, with a PICA\-3 heat shield and 9\.3 cubic metres pressurised\. Crew Dragon adds 8 SuperDraco abort engines of 71 kN to the 16 Draco thrusters\. The expendable trunk carries solar arrays and the radiator; recovery uses 2 drogue and 4 main parachutes\.

Trunk solar output \(1\.5–2 kW\) is low confidence in the source\.

### 5. Starship and Super Heavy

The Block 3 stack is about 124 m tall and 9 m in diameter, built from stainless steel\. Super Heavy B3 is 72\.3 m with 33 Raptor 3 engines and three enlarged grid fins for tower catch\. The ship carries 3 sea\-level and 3 vacuum Raptors, 4 flaps and about 18,000 hexagonal tiles\.

Raptor 3: 250 tf sea level, 275 tf vacuum, 1,525 kg\. Flight history in sources conflicts and is omitted\.

### 6. Starlink and Starshield

Starlink Services LLC operates about 10,413 satellites \(June 2026\) and reported 12 million subscribers\. Satellites are built in Redmond, Washington, and terminals in Bastrop, Texas; Gen2 shells sit at 525, 530 and 535 km\. Starshield is the encrypted government derivative inside the same LLC\.

Satellite mass, terminal dimensions and gateway count were not available from the sources reviewed\.

### 7. Sites: factories, test and launch

Hawthorne builds Falcon and Dragon; Starbase builds and launches Starship and is now headquarters\. McGregor, Texas, tests engines and stages, and Irvine designs RF silicon\. Falcon flies from LC\-39A, Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg\.

Pad designators SLC\-40 and SLC\-4E are an author addition marked as a suggestion on the pucks\.

### 8. SpaceXAI

SpaceX acquired xAI on 2 February 2026 in an all\-stock deal valuing SpaceX at $1T and xAI at $250B\. The unit groups the Grok models, the X platform and the Colossus data centres\. Operating detail below this level is not publicly sourced and is labelled as such\.

Per Wikipedia; not checked against SEC filings\.

### 9. Recursion to a component: Raptor 3

Each level is drawn at 0\.36 of its parent’s scale, so every drill\-down frames the same way: SpaceX › Starship › Raptor 3 › components\. Turn the table to compare branches, or click any dimmed puck to jump straight into it\.

Full\-flow staged combustion is an author addition; other values per Wikipedia, Raptor and Starship pages\.
